My latest activities and such

Zöe and I are playing fetch on a daily basis now!  At least once a day, she brings me the ponytail holder and we go for a few rounds.  She chirps when she drops it at my feet to let me know she wants to go again!  <3  http://youtu.be/usq6KEaCx0o

I took a few pictures when taking the big, yellow bicycle out for a ride this morning.  It has been an absolutely GORGEOUS day today!!!  An early birthday present, perhaps?!?!!  ;)

You know I love exercise that feels like playing…here is the latest thing that I tried:

Active Bottoms

I was recently called an “exercise nut”. That is one of the nicest things I have been called lately! Just this week alone:
1. Dragon boat practice on Thanksgiving Eve
2. Turkey Trot 5K on Thanksgiving morning
3. Worked in the family business’ warehouse all day today moving stuff around and up/down the stairs.
4. Tomorrow and Sunday will be spent on the lake for dragon boat practice.
Not too shabby if I do say so myself!!!

The Dragon and the Big, Yellow Bicycle

I have been bit by the dragon….another day on the water and my techniques are improving. I can feel when I do the moves correctly – what a rush. Great workout!

A friend called and asked if I wanted to go on a bike ride. Sure! He has his really expensive, high end bike – and I have my big, yellow bike from Target – who gets complimented right away on their bike by some walkers we passed….yep, me! Ha! I knew that drove him crazy – but I thought it was funny. :^) Just goes to show we all have different tastes. That walker was a very smart person.

We ended up riding for 10 miles – that is a lot on a beach cruiser…but the weather was great and I felt great afterwards.
